Flared skirt

Description

This timeless FLARED SKIRT pattern has seam allowances . It “MUST HAVE” piece in your wardrobe. Make it black for classic look, or brighter color to be unique. Any shirt will look good with this flared skirt. For any occasion.
Skirt length approximately 24-1/4 inches (61.5 cm).
Two types of grainlines represent in this pattern.
Grainline placement relative to the fall of the flare:

Grainline 1 – flares fall toward the side and side front-straight grainline. Need less fabric for pattern layouts.

Grainline 2(on bias) – flares fall to center front and towards side seam – placed between front and side seam. Needs more fabric for pattern layouts. I prefer this layout. Skirt flare better for my opinion.

Materials:
Grainline 1 (pattern layout on straight grainline).
Blended fabric, 55 ins (140 cm) wide: 1-5/8 yd
(1.50 m) for all sizes.

Grainline 2 (pattern layout on bias).
Blended fabric, 55 ins (140 cm) wide: 1-7/8 yd
(1.70 m) for all sizes.

Lining, 55 ins (140 cm) wide: 1-5/8 yd (1.40 m) for
all sizes.

Fusible interfacing piece 5’’x 40’’ (13 cm x 102
cm).
One zipper by customer choice:
Invisible 9” (22 cm) OR regular 7-1/8’’ (18 cm).
1 button.

Fabric suggestions: skirt fabrics made of wool,
cotton, silk, viscose-rayon or blended.

You will need a printer and Adobe Acrobat Reader (free software) to be able to print.
You only need to print files for your printing paper size: A4 or US letter (USA, Canada).
Paper size included in the files name so you could easy choose your preferable paper size.
